Happy July Everyone! I finally round up all I've been loving for the month of June. I don't know about you but to think this year is already half over is MIND BLOWING. We've been running non-stop it seems the past few weeks and on top of that everyone in the family has been passing around a stomach bug. Here's hoping July slows down a bit and we get to knock off some items on our summer bucket list!
1. THE BIG PINK RUG OF MY DREAMS.
The first item on list for June is probably something I would buy again if it were to ever get ruined. And because I have 2 beautiful girls that love eating snacks, there's a chance in the future I might have too. Behold, the most beautiful rug I've ever laid eyes on:
This rug is JUST as beautiful in person. (Cute pups also help). BUT REALLY, I got this for a DEAL on Marketplace but would 100% purchase again. With such a large piece (this one 8x11) I would have initially opted for a more neutral rug, but this rug brings so much life and color into this room that every person in the house, including Steven, is loving it.
2. I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT PURPLE SHAMPOO YOU GUYS.
And I've tried a whopping 4 different kinds, so I'm basically an expert. (HAHA!) They all were blah, if I'm being honest. But this one by Kristen Ess, Target, has changed my blonde hair game. I've really been into a completely brass free color for some time now that it very closely lends itself to "almost gray". It works SO WELL at axing all the brassy tones and I actually notice a big difference if I skip it. A+ Kristen Ess. I am REALLY interested to try all her other products now...
3. I'M NOT A REGULAR MOM, I'M A COOL MOM.
These sunglasses are SO FUN. I've been seeing them float around on LIKEtoKNOW.it for some time now and for under $10, they are the perfect sassy addition to your summer wardrobe. Thanks to my boyfriend, AMAZON PRIME.
4. I'VE GOT EYES ON YOU.
My favorite baby monitor. Or "what is my dog doing" monitor. This thing is SO CHEAP, has an excellent picture, and links to an app on my phone so I can check in from, not only anywhere in my house, but anywhere I can get wifi. You can take video or screenshots of what you're seeing also. We have plans to buy more for everry room in the house. OR every room our kids will be while we are watching my next favorite.
5. BIG LITTLE LIES
Our newest binge worthy show. I HIGHLY recommend this show to basically everyone I meet. The characters, the plot, the housewives, everything about this show screams "watch me" and we do, every Sunday at 9pm,
6. EVERYTHING "LEMON" CONTINUES.
Lemon slice door mat. Such a cute accessory for the summer months!
7. WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM.
This adorable instant download has been one my favorites list on ETSY for sometime now. How sweet would this be in a nursery or playroom? It makes perfect sense at under $7 too.
8. CAKE BY THE OCEAN.
More like crackers jammed into the sofa by the ocean. I've once again changed out the big 24x36 double prints above my sofa. This is a fun cheap way to update my space and when I saw this double ocean print, I knew it would be the perfect summer addition to my living room. (I keep the bulls behind the other prints for easy storage.) My favorite thing about this ocean print, unlike a lot of pictures of the ocean, is how NOT CALM it is. Which, in my opinion, makes it that more interesting.
9. NOTHING A LITTLE LIP GLOSS CAN'T FIX.
Speaking of things that I would buy over and over again. This lipgloss by NARS, (Chelsea Girls), is one that I've bought 3 or 4 times in the last few years. The color is PERFECT. The formula is PERFECT. Its not sticky. KINDA pricey. BUT 100% worth it.
10. "THEY CAN'T SAY WE NEVER TRIED".
I've been eyeing this graphic tee for sometime. And at under $20 your wallet will love it too. WIN-WIN.
