Thank you cards with Basic Invite

Today I'm sharing some details about one of my favorite aspects of Party Planning!

I have always loved creating and sending paper invitations and thank you cards. I love receiving them in the mail and putting them in the girls' keepsake boxes. YES, I'm that person who keeps every card ever sent to her, but hey, it is so fun to look back and reminisce on the different milestones in life and those who shared in that special day!

Another thing that I think gets easily overlooked is the paper. Using a quality paper makes ALL the difference in how your invites look and feel. I ordered a few samples to see the quality of paper and really see them side by side. I am of course attracted to all of the sparkly words to include: Premium Shimmer and Luxe Velvet. Don't those sound nice? I ordered 2 of the same personalized invite on the two different types of premium paper. And folks, they are dreamy...

You also would not believe the number of color options I could choose from. 180 to be exact! I'm a big color person and the thought of matching EXACT colors to my party was very intriguing. They also offer 40 different colors of envelopes so your letter stands out and this way you know your invite or thank you card will be the only one of its kind.

For this personalized thank you card, I chose the option for "Raised Foil" and it did not disappoint. These metallic gold dots add a serious dose of class to an already stunning card. And yes, every dot and star you see below, I got to choose the color.
